Vocal Embodiment Sessions
For singers, speakers, and creatives seeking grounded breath, embodied voice, and inner clarity.
Service Description
This offering blends beginner-to-intermediate voice training with pranayama-based yoga and mindfulness practices for a fully integrated experience. These sessions are ideal for vocalists, speakers, and creatives navigating performance anxiety, breath disconnect, tension in the body, or simply craving a more soulful, sustainable connection to one's instrument (your body). What We’ll Explore Together: Breath as Foundation: Learn pranayama techniques (such as Nadi Shodhana, Sama Vritti, Ujjayi, and diaphragmatic breath) to build vocal control, calm nerves, and increase oxygen flow for endurance and tone stability. Somatic Awareness: Use gentle, targeted restorative yoga postures and stretches to release physical tension in the jaw, neck, shoulders, spine, and diaphragm (areas that directly impact vocal freedom). Vocal Technique & Expression: Practice vocal warm-ups, tone and pitch exercises, range expansion, and stylized song work in sync with breath cycles, not in isolation. Build vocal phrasing that feels organic to your breath, not forced. Suggested song selections and student chosen songs. Optional Mindful Performance Tools: Use visualization, mantras, mudras, and sound mapping to cultivate presence, focus, and self-trust (ideal for artists preparing for live or recorded performance). Sacred Sound Meets Craft: We treat your voice not just as an instrument, but as a healing tool. Expect mantra integration, silence as practice, and the invitation to use your voice as both creative expression and emotional release. Who This Is For? * Vocalists (all genres) seeking to deepen the mind-body-voice connection * Singers & Performers working through tension, stage fright, or inconsistent breath support * Yoga practitioners who want to explore sound and mantra * Songwriters and creatives exploring voice as a tool for healing or performance What Makes This Different from Standard Voice Lessons? This is not a traditional “stand and sing” lesson. It’s a full-bodied, breath-led exploration where the yoga mat, the mic, and the moment meet. My intention is for you to leave each session vocally stronger, emotionally grounded, and more connected to the rhythm of your breath as the root of your creative expression. In these sessions you are welcome to bring your own song suggestions you would like to fine tune.
